Pound Ridge is located in the eastern corner of the county, bordered by Stamford, Connecticut, to the south, Bedford, New York, to the west, North Castle to the south-west and Lewisboro, New York, to the north and east. Although Pound Ridge does not have a train station, when commuting to Manhattan residents of Pound Ridge tend to drive to the Katonah station. The Katonah station to Grand Central is approximately an hour and six minutes. Pound Ridge is part of Fox Lane High School which consists of Bedford, Mount Kisco and Pound Ridge.
