Yorktown Heights is located 45 Miles north of Manhattan. Much like many other northern Westchester towns, Yorktown is hilly and wooded. Yorktown Heights hamlets include: Shrub Oak, Mohegan Lake and Jefferson Valley. Yorktown Heights does not have a train station making the commute to Manhattan not as ideal as many other cities and towns within Westchester County. Yorktown school districts include Yorktown Central School District and Lakeland Center School District.
